Bestrom-60 machine for flat top bags.

This machine is intended for making flat top rectangular bags out of pre-made packs produced on a vertical packaging machine.

An automatic machine works synchronically with a vertical packaging machine by using only one synchronized signal.

It works with granular product (grains, nuts, sugar, ets.)

A basic machine consists of the following groups:

  • a steel frame resistant to vibration
  • electro-pneumatic drive
  • a collecting bunker
  • a conveyor with an electric drive
  • a display and PLC to control operation and dialogue with an operator

Technical specification:

Productivity, packs/min 60
Packed product weight, kg 0,5-1,5
Voltage 3 x 380 Â, 50 Hz, 0, Earth
Power consumption, kWt 7,5
Weight, kg 500

Overall dimensions, mm

2500 x 570 x 1100
Corrected level of sound power, dB A Max 75

A machine can be equipped with the following options:

  • a sticker

A process of block top forming consists of the following:

  1. A gusset pack made on a vertical machine goes to a collecting bunker of Bestrom-60 machine. Simultaneously, a pneumatic cylinder bends a bottom longitudinal seal. Then a bag moves on a conveyor and passes several technological operations.
  2. A vibrator shakes a bag to make product more compact inside the bag and static electricity is removed from film on the top part of the bag.
  3. Excess air is squeezed from the bag and side folds are formed. The top cross seal is made and excess film is simultaneously cut off.
  4. Top and bottom cross seams are sealed to the bag top and bottom and seals are cooled by a metal plate descending on a bag.
  5. A ready bag moves to a discharge conveyor.
